16 JANUARY 2016
This is fast becoming one of my favourite themes, I just love all the elements!
We set up and styled an eats & treats table which we decorated with a hessian tablecloth, sea sand & shells, jungle vines, wooden crates, a wooden fish bowl, rubber snakes, tree trunk cupcake stands, spiders, lily pads, food labels, green grass placemats, wooden cutlery, a bamboo table skirting, tiki torches and wooden bowls, plates & boards.
The eats & treats included mini gourmet burgers, the cutest chocolate "Camp Fire" cupcakes, a tropical "Survivor Island" fruit platter, chocolate frogs, chocolate "Rotten Eggs", chocolate mousse "Dirt" cups with sour worms and chicken wings.
To drink we served bottled water with Survivor labels.
Each young survivor received a bandana party favour pack filled with treats to take home.
I just loved putting together this party for a lovely family.
19 JUNE 2015
I had so much fun putting together this Survivor themed birthday party, it is definitely in my top 3 for the year!
We set up and styled one large eats & treats table for the children as well as the adults.
The decor included hessian, green & brown snake skin tablecloths, shells, jungle vines, wooden crates, bowls, plates & boxes, lily pads, rubber snakes, coconuts, food labels , green grass placemats, tree trunk cupcake stands, bamboo table skirting, bamboo torches and wooden spoons & forks.
For the children we served pretzel "Twigs" in a wooden fish bowl, chocolate frogs on lily pads, chocolate mousse "Dirt" cups with sour worms & crumbled Flake, gummy snakes, sea sand cupcakes with Survivor logo toppers, chocolate "Rotten Eggs", mini gourmet burgers, gummy spiders and Flake "Tree Trunks".
To drink we served a variety of tropical fruit juice as well as bottled water with Survivor logo labels.
The food for the adults included tropical "Survivor Island" fruit kebabs, chicken wings with sesame, "Survivor Island" pizza bites with pineapple, mixed nuts, mini gourmet "Survivor Island" burgers with pineapple, bacon wrapped pineapple bites, smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers & cucumber bites on bamboo picks, sweet & sour chicken & pineapple kebabs, individual prawn & avocado cocktails with "Survivor Island" sauce and coconut chicken kebabs. It all looked so delicious, even if I have to say so myself! :)
Each little islander received a red, blue or yellow buff party favour pack to take home.
