When mommy Beat asked me to help her with JG’s Boeresport party I was super excited because it has all the elements of a farmyard, picnic, South Africa and nostalgia! I literally loved every second of putting this Designer Eats & Treats Table together.
MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:
- the cute chalk board food labels in mini galvanized steel buckets filled with hay
- literally ALL the themed eats & treats
- the corrugated iron backdrop
- the wooden ladder which makes for excellent shelving
- and last but definitely not least the cutest little mister JG in his khaki outfit and brand new vellies, too cute for words!
We served biltong & cheese spread “haystacks” as a savoury treat.
Sweet treats included chocolate “kettie skiet klippies”, chocolate cupcakes, coconut & chocolate cake “haystacks”, chocolate eggs, marshmallow Rice Crispies “haystacks” and assorted themed sweets in galvanized steel wheelbarrows as well as yummy koeksisters.
To drink we served chocolate milk as well as bottled water.
JG and his little sister helped with the decorations by placing their toy farm animals all over! It was a lovely touch!
These beautiful images were once again captured by Kimi & Me, isn’t it just too gorgeous?
