Simple Dinosaur Party in the Garden for Little Gideon

Gideon was very specific when he asked for a dinosaur party, he didn’t want baby dinosaurs, he wanted real dinosaurs! And that is exactly what he got! This little guy was so excited about his party, he literally could not wait!

I had a great time setting up and styling his Mini Eats & Treats Table in their beautiful garden at home. There was this rustic wooden table standing in the corner under a big tree and I loved it! So that is what we used. 🙂

MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:

the chocolate dinosaur eggs in a woven wooden nest
the dinosaur shaped pizza bites
and chatting to Gideon who kept wanting to know when the party will start!

Apart from the chocolate eggs and pizza bites we also served delicious chocolate cupcakes topped with dinosaur figurines, Flake “tree trunks” and themed chocolate lollipops. Now that I think of it, there was A LOT of chocolate!

To drink we served Creme Soda in themed glass bottles with cool dinosaur paper straws.

The little guests each took home a brown dinosaur themed party favour bag filled with goodies.

My favourite thing to eat is a beautifully styled cheese and charcuterie board with a glass of good red wine and live music playing in the background. Or the foreground. Writing about food and music (and everything in between) excites me because these are two of the many things that South Africa has an abundance of and it is also two of the few things that really bring people together.
