Fortnite is all the rage right now and Jezrael was very specific about all the elements he wanted on his Fortnite Party table! I am really glad he helped me out because without his help I don’t know where we would have been! Thanks Jez!

MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:

  • the awesome backdrop printed by Memory Wall Creations
  • the Fortnite cupcake toppers made by the amazingly talented Daleen Botes from Prettynice
  • the Pringles Bandages!
  • the cool Supply Drop party favour boxes with camouflage bandanas filled with treats
  • and last but not least, the Durr Burgers! Duh!

Additional decor items included a Marshmellow centrepiece box, blue Supply Drop crates and kitchen towel Bandages. Jezrael loved it!

Cookies & Treats by C made the coolest Fortnite cookies which we served on tiny wooden easels.

We also served popcorn in Supply Drop boxes, Loot Llama cake pops, sweets in Medkit boxes, V-Bucks gold chocolate coins and sweets in apothecary jars. Jez’s mom Janice supplied an awesome birthday cake for dessert!

To drink we served blue Energade Splash Potion in a drinks dispenser as well as blue lemonade Shield Potion in glass bottles.

My favourite thing to eat is a beautifully styled cheese and charcuterie board with a glass of good red wine and live music playing in the background. Or the foreground. Writing about food and music (and everything in between) excites me because these are two of the many things that South Africa has an abundance of and it is also two of the few things that really bring people together.

If you are creative and enjoy event styling, cooking, baking, entertaining, live music, festivals and markets like I do then stick around. Here I will share events and recipes, talk about new music, interview artists, recommend festivals, markets, events and eateries, review products and offer catering and décor solutions.

I think out of the box (and in the shower). I draw inspiration from others. I like creating new ways of doing old things. I like using old things to make new things. When you leave here I want you to be informed and feel inspired, excited and a little nostalgic.
