Gjord’s Rock Climbing Party was held at The Climbing Barn in Pretoria, it was the perfect venue with all the right stuff that adventurous boys love!
The venue not only has friendly and helpful owners and staff but they have multiple climbing walls for all levels of fitness and experience and they have trained personnel to assist. They also provide all the gear. The children couldn’t wait and they all loved it!
MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:
- the awesome custom made orange drawstring backpacks filled with treats each guest received
- the rock climbing backdrop printed by Memory Wall Creations (it was my first attempt at designing a backdrop!)
- all the ropes and spring loaded carabiners
- chocolate rocks everywhere!
- and Gjord’s happy face when he saw his party table!
Gjord was very specific about the colour scheme (blue and orange) and he chose all the eats & treats himself. There was A LOT of chocolate!
The treats included chocolate mousse, doughnuts, rocky road chocolate bark, cookies by Cookies & Treats by C, popcorn, sweets in glass jars, trail mix and lots and lots of chocolate rocks!
To drink we served bottled water and Coca Cola on the rocks!
