Alice in Wonderland has always been, is and forever will be one of my absolute favourite books and movies and it is the perfect theme for a party! There are so many peculiar and wonderful elements and the possibilities are endless!

I loved setting up and styling this Alice in “One”derland Mini Eats & Treats Table for little Leilani’s first birthday. The beautiful home (and the two doggies who live there!) added to the whimsy of the theme.

Follow us down the rabbit hole…

MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:

  • my collection of bunnies and rabbits (my collection grows constantly!)
  • the adorable black & white striped Mad Hatter hat party favour boxes with blue ribbons
  • the Alice in Wonderland cupcakes with red roses
  • the “Eat Me” and “Drink Me” pennant flags and tags
  • and the vintage black & white drawings from the book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland!

We served tea party treats which included chocolate biscuit fudge, lemon meringue tartlets, heart shaped strawberry sandwiches and the Alice in Wonderland cupcakes. Oh, and the Queen of Hearts’ heart shaped cheese bites with biscuits for those who felt like something savoury!

To drink we served assorted flavoured milk in glass bottles with “Drink Me” tags.
