The adults at Heinrich’s pirate themed birthday party were treated to a delicious cheese & charcuterie grazing table in the same theme! But instead of rum, we served wine me mateys! How fun!
MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:
- definitely the round of vintner’s Brie topped with seasonal fruit and berries and caramelized sugar, yummm!
- the selection of local and imported cheese, it is a Cheese & Wine after all!
- the delicious selection of charcuterie (my go-to is Seemann’s Deli in Centurion, they have a wide range of local and imported meat products and they are super affordable!)
- the yummy homemade chicken liver pate (a big thank you to my hubby Ian!) served with toasted garlic & herb panini which is so much better than plain old melba toast!
- and last but not least the touches of pirate elements to bring the children’s eats & treats table and the adults’ food table together!
Apart from the cheese and charcuterie we also served a selection of biscuits and breads, preserves, fresh seasonal fruit and berries, dried fruit, roasted & salted mixed nuts and marinated olives. Oh, and delicious spreads!
This is literally my favourite way to eat!
