Matthew turned 18 and he wanted a fun Tropical Island Party at home with all his friends and so that is exactly what he got! They played table tennis, listened to music, drank cocktails and just had some good old fashioned fun!

- the amazing backdrop supplied by Matt’s mom Liz who also happen to be the owner of Delectable Candy Affairs and Events. You should check out her work!
- the beautiful, vibrant colours which almost made it feel as if we were on a tropical island!
- the DELICIOUS prawns we prepared on site with lemon & garlic butter… oh my goodness, I craved prawns for weeks after…
- the tropical island cocktails
- and lastly working with Matt and his mom Liz on his party. I enjoyed every second!
The party started in the late afternoon and because we know that teenagers eat a lot we made sure that there was plenty to go around!
We served tropical chicken sliders, the yummy grilled prawns, chicken nuggets and tropical pizza bites as well as grilled chicken wings with sesame. We also served roasted & salted mixed nuts to snack on.
Sweet treats included fresh tropical fruit, watermelon wedges and the amazing Daleen Botes from Prettynice baked the most beautiful cake!
