I had the best time putting together this Superhero Party table for Emile’s 5th birthday party which was held in the park at the residential estate in Johannesburg. It was such a beautiful late Winter/early Spring day, the weather was actually just perfect!
MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:
- firstly the BEAUTIFUL two tier cake baked by Daleen Botes from Prettynice (she also baked the yummy cupcakes!)
- all the bright colours, just looking at it made me happy!
- the personalized party packs filled with treats for each little guest to take home
- the skyscraper cardboard centrepiece (which struggled to stay upright in the August winds!)
- and lastly the look on little Emile’s face when he saw his birthday cake! Priceless!
Additional eats included popcorn, chocolate lollipops, rock candy and Hulk’s green marshmallow Rice Crispies treats as well as Iron Man’s red & yellow jelly bowls.
To drink we served Spiderman’s raspberry soda and Hulk’s Creme Soda in a drinks dispenser with cute glass bottles and striped paper straws.
Mommy Liezl-Mari spoiled each little guest with a superhero cape and mask!
And dad Otto braaied some boerewors rolls for all the guests to enjoy! Yummy!
