I Love Cheese and I Love Wine! Need I Say More?

If you know me then you will know that I love nothing more than cheese and wine! Setting up and styling a beautiful and delicious cheese and wine grazing table is a close second!

MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:

  • the wooden backdrop frame with bunches and bunches of eucalyptus
  • the beautiful pink and white dragon fruit which gave the table a pop of colour
  • literally every single cheese
  • literally all the charcuterie
  • and definitely the homemade kumquat marmalade made with kumquats picked from our own tree in or own garden! I am super proud of my husband for being so domesticated!

Apart from the cheese and charcuterie we also served delicious scratch made chicken liver pate with melba toast and the most decadent and baked brie round with garlic and rosemary infused balsamic reduction drizzle and chunks of toasted olive ciabatta. Not only was it delicious but it looked beautiful too, it was served in a small black skillet with sprigs of fresh rosemary!

Some more of my favourites were the marinated olives and bocconcini and the walnut and thyme covered goat’s milk cream cheese drizzled with honey as well as the blue cheese and fig phyllo parcels! Those are always a hit at parties!
