I love Dr Seuss and the colour scheme of The Cat in the Hat and I loved every second of putting together this party for the cute little birthday girl, Olivia!
ME PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:
- the cute The Cat in the Hat hat party boxes filled with treats, it took ages to make but it was worth every second!
- the amazing hat cookies baked by Chantel from Cookies & Treats by C
- the backdrop printed by Memory Wall Creations
- the perfect little hat cupcake toppers made by Daleen Botes from Prettynice (I have to confess, I dropped the whole container of blue food colouring into the icing sugar! Haha!)
- and definitely the CUTEST Cat soft toys handmade with love by Olivia’s grandmother. I REALLY want one!
Other eats & treats included gummy fish in a teapot, strawberries dipped in blue chocolate and fish sandwiches as well as sweets in apothecary jars.
To drink we served blue lemonade and bottled mineral water with The Cat in the Hat labels.
I am also proud of the cartoon kite and Cat’s hat which I made from cardboard, paper and a Sharpie!
