Mom Chrisley asked me to help her with a neon glow-in-the-dark party for her daughter Angelica’s sweet 16th birthday with the theme Neon Nights! I was excited because I got to design some brand new artwork!
We set up and styled an eats & treats table in their entertainment area at home, Angelica’s dad took care of the black lights! I believe there was some dancing…
MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:
- The neon backdrop with the neon balloons on the black wire mesh frame, it always adds a little urban/industrial touch
- the brick wall in the entertainment area which added to the whole urban vibe!
- my lava lamp!
- all the neon sweets in glass jars which weren’t only yummy but also added to the theme, I wonder if it glowed in the dark?
- and the yummy double cheese nachos! I almost kept it for myself! Cheese for days!
Apart from the nachos we also served beef sliders, chicken nuggets and pizza bites as well as mac & cheese! Teenagers can get hungry when they are dancing the night away!
Other sweet treats included rainbow popcorn in black and neon popcorn boxes and rock candy!
To drink served bottled water and an assortment of neon glow-in-the-dark soda!
