When mom Cindy asked me to do a Coco party for her daughter Yutame I was over the moon! Coco is one of my absolute favourite animated movies of all time. I love the music, the Mexican food, the vibrant colours, everything!

It is very hard to choose because I literally loved every single element of this party but…

MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:

  • the awesome guitar party favour boxes with colourful tissue paper filled with treats for each of Yutame’s guests to take home
  • the cactus alphabet letter Y
  • the backdrop printed by Memory Wall Creations
  • the sugar skull cookies baked by Chantel from Cookies & Treats by C
  • and last but not least spending time with Yutame and her wonderful family!

We also set up and styled a Mexican inspired food table for the adults as Yutame wanted her family as well as her friends with her on her birthday. I craved Mexican food for days after this party!

We served chicken tacos, nachos and chicken quesadillas with sour cream and guacamole for lunch.

Additional sweet treats included churros with chocolate sauce, sweets in terra cotta pots, chocolate lollipops and rainbow popcorn as well colourful rock candy.

To drink we served bottled water and delicious fresh fruit juice.

(I admit… I went a little bit wild with all the pictures…)
