When mom Petro asked me to help her plan a (murder) mystery party for her daughter I was excited but when she said that they will be ordering pizzas I was a little stumped for a day or two. Then I came up with the idea of a mystery in the pizza restaurant: What Happened to the Pizza Delivery Guy?
I also suggested that the children make and bake their own pizzas at home which turned out to be a hit!
This party had SO MANY wonderful, fun and well thought through elements but…
MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:
- the awesome fingerprint and pizza cookies baked by the talented Chantel from Cookies & Treats by C
- the TOP SECRET party favour boxes filled with treats for each little detective
- the chocolate cigars which were individually packaged in glass tubes each with its own unique brand label
- the ransom letter made from magazine and newspaper letters which took me a loooong time to make
- and the fresh herbs and the Polaroid pictures and the DNA samples! Haha!
Additional eats and treats included a large jar of Flings (grated mozarella cheese!), sweets, cupcakes and the firm favourite, glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts!
I loved every single little detail of this party!
