How Amazing is Jordan’s Air Jordan Party in the Park?

I loved every second of putting together this sassy Air Jordan themed party for little Jordan who turned two! Mommy Alicia and I have been planning this party for more than a year!

ME PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:

  • the striking bright pink, black and white colour scheme, my favourite colours!
  • the bright pink and black Jumping Man cookies baked by Cookies & Treats by C
  • the striking black & white striped backdrop printed by Memory Wall Creations, I added the bright pink glitter Jumping Man!
  • the cute black & white striped Air Jordan sneaker party favour boxes with bright pink lids
  • and the crazy, colourful Creative Cake concocted by yours truly! I had fun, that’s for sure!

Additional treats included candyfloss, chocolate lollipops, sweets in apothecary jars, rock candy, chocolate dipped meringues and vanilla cupcakes as well as raspberry jelly bowls.

We also served popcorn in awesome Air Jordan popcorn boxes.

To drink we served raspberry soda en strawberry flavoured milk in cute Air Jordan bottles with matching straws.

I loved working alongside the amazing Stelo Events who styled the seating tables and the photo backdrop with the balloon arch! How pretty are those flowers?

My favourite thing to eat is a beautifully styled cheese and charcuterie board with a glass of good red wine and live music playing in the background. Or the foreground. Writing about food and music (and everything in between) excites me because these are two of the many things that South Africa has an abundance of and it is also two of the few things that really bring people together.

If you are creative and enjoy event styling, cooking, baking, entertaining, live music, festivals and markets like I do then stick around. Here I will share events and recipes, talk about new music, interview artists, recommend festivals, markets, events and eateries, review products and offer catering and décor solutions.

I think out of the box (and in the shower). I draw inspiration from others. I like creating new ways of doing old things. I like using old things to make new things. When you leave here I want you to be informed and feel inspired, excited and a little nostalgic.
