New Company Launched with a Stunning Black & Gold Cocktail Party

I had the absolute honour to work alongside the amazing Johan Ungerer from Johan Ungerer Signature Events on this stunning Black & Gold Cocktail Party. It was for Level Up Business Optimizers‘ launch and it was fabulous!

I just love Corporate Events!

MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE ELEMENTS WERE:

  • the striking black & gold colour scheme, it was so fancy!
  • the black brioche sliders, not only pretty to look at but yummy too!
  • the branded Level Up table runners and napkins supplied by the company
  • the beautiful backdrop wall
  • and the marquee letters which I wasn’t sure about at first but which ended up being such an amazing feature, especially when it got dark!

The cocktail party eats included the black brioche beef sliders with two fillings, cheddar and tomato relish and Camembert, streaky bacon and caramelized onion, yumm!

We also served smoked salmon vol au vents, crostini with tomato, basil and mozarella as well as Greek chicken wraps.

And then there was the pièce de résistance, the black & gold dessert table! Those Caramel Popcorn Cupcakes are too die for! Caramel is my favourite flavour.

And black is my favourite colour!

My favourite thing to eat is a beautifully styled cheese and charcuterie board with a glass of good red wine and live music playing in the background. Or the foreground. Writing about food and music (and everything in between) excites me because these are two of the many things that South Africa has an abundance of and it is also two of the few things that really bring people together.

If you are creative and enjoy event styling, cooking, baking, entertaining, live music, festivals and markets like I do then stick around. Here I will share events and recipes, talk about new music, interview artists, recommend festivals, markets, events and eateries, review products and offer catering and décor solutions.

I think out of the box (and in the shower). I draw inspiration from others. I like creating new ways of doing old things. I like using old things to make new things. When you leave here I want you to be informed and feel inspired, excited and a little nostalgic.
